Each stand has two screens which will display your company logo, a short overview (no more than 40 words), 3 bullet points (no more than 15 words each) on your technology and one image (jpg, eps or PDF of at least 300 dpi). You will need to submit your company overview at the time of registration and will be contacted by the organisers for further details required.
Space will be at a premium and participants will not be able to bring their own stand systems. However, exhibitors are encouraged to bring equipment (such as laptops or products) for demos, providing it can fit onto the cabinet provided. Dimensions of the cabinet are 1030 high x 903 wide x 320 deep, with 2 shelves.
To allow exhibitors to judge how much literature to bring, we are expecting some 100 international visitors and a further 250 UK delegates. Literature should be displayed on the cabinet provided, or in the central literature library. No other literature racks will be supplied.
We can not guarantee that all exhibitor stands will have access to a power supply, therefore if you will require power, you must specify this when you register. We will allocate spaces with a nearby power supply on a first-come, first-served basis.
Exhibitors are welcome to take their printed screens away with them at the end of the event.
At the time of registering, you will be asked to provide the names of the two delegates included within the exhibitor fee. Contact details of your lead exhibitor will be included in the event guide, so please ensure you register them as the first exhibitor on the form.
University Poster Presentations
For the first time at UK Nanoforum, University Poster Presentations will run alongside the main exhibition throughout the afternoon on Tuesday 28 October 2008. With over 300 UK and International experts in Nanotechnology attending, this provides an excellent opportunity for young scientists to talk about their research and develop future contacts. EPSRC will give prizes of £500, £250 and £150 for the three posters which show the best communications of basic nanotechnology taken through to application.
Call for abstracts
You are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentations on current research which it is envisaged will have future impact on any of the themes above. We will also accept presentations on research which will lead to other novel applications of Nanotechnology. We particularly encourage presentations on work that is in progress, as well as completed work.
Submit an abstract
If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit abstracts including title, authors (indicating attending author) and author affiliations with an abstract body of 300 words maximum to Toby Gill at enquiries@nanoktn.com by 31st July.
Those that have been accepted will be notified by 15th August. One free delegate pass will be provided for each university displaying a poster. If selected, you will need to be available to man your poster for the duration of the exhibition.
