Its key competencies are in compounding and transforming polymeric nanocomposites. The company has complementary technology in the field of ceramic nanomaterials with specialist processing techniques such as spark plasma sintering. The company has a broad range of mechanical testing capabilities for thermoplastics and thermosetting materials such as tensile, flexure, impact, shear and nano-indentation. The electrospinning division of the company can produce polymer nanofibres in a simple way and has applications in medical textiles.
