Exilica Limited is able to provide small quantities of both beads and shells for product evaluation, and to undertake applied research for new product development. We are looking to prove a specific storage / containment solution to multi-national companies with encapsulation problems that cannot be solved using current technologies. Our spherical micrometer sized polymer particles (called ΅-Sq beads) act like micro sponges and absorb compounds while the sub-micrometer sized Hollow silica shells have an internal void space and act much like a standard container. Both the beads and shells are very robust and can survive harsh temperatures / pressures and chemical conditions, and can be used as molecular delivery vehicles.
